The 21-year-old victim was driving south on Route 295 when his vehicle was shot at around 2:45 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, according to Maryland State Police.
After being shot, the victim jumped out of the vehicle while it was still in motion, resulting in the Acura TLX continuing to travel up the exit ramp on Route 295, before striking a guardrail on another ramp.
The victim walked himself to a convenience store in the 800 block of Pinnacle Drive and was transported by ambulance to a hospital in Baltimore for his injuries.
Initial investigation revealed that the shots fired came from someone in a gray Nissan Armada.
